Elad-accesshealthservices

Elad

Elad is an ANCC board Certified Nurse Practitioner. She graduated with a Masters in nursing from Ohio University. Before pursuing her master’s in Nursing, Elad worked as a Registered Nurse for over seven years in different healthcare departments, including Neuro, cardiac, surgical, and Intensive Care Units. After working as a staff nurse for five years, she became a float nurse. She opted to float to the psychiatric units as a way to broaden her knowledge and ability to offer care to her patients in a holistic manner. In that light, she developed more compassion and empathy for her patients suffering from mental health problems as she understood their concerns and how they were perceived by friends, family, and society. As a result, she decided to further her career in mental health to mitigate the stigma attached to mental health while still working as a float nurse.
